Full Job Description
- To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide a good quality of health, welfare and well being of our Service Users;
- To contribute, develop and implement Service Users' individual care and person centred plans;
- To work flexibly to meet peoples' support needs;
- To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the Service User's life;
- To work as part of a team;
- To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with our colleagues
Experience of the people in our care who have mental health concerns, learning difficulties and challenging behaviours; - NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential as full training will be provided;
- Candidates must have the right to work within the EU.
- Due to our location it would be beneficial if you could drive and have access to transport.
Based in Redmarley just outside of Gloucester, Stepping Stones RU aim to help people who come to live with us with mental health concerns to achieve a settled time in their lives and look forward to developing skills, interests and relationships.
We currently have Day Support Worker vacancies, the shift pattern is 4 shifts one week, followed by 3 the following, working alternate weekends. - DBS check provided
