Full Job Description

As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be based in Gateshead, supporting a non-verbal and very active man who loves a walk in the park and caring for his pet chickens and rabbits. He loves interacting with his support team and is very sociable when supported by prompts and visual aids. He enjoys playing games and visiting clubs together when assisted with his mobility.

As a Support Worker, you will be kind and compassionate building caring and supportive relationships with the individual you support and their families.   • Pay: £12.00 p/hr
  • Working on shifts, paid from start to finish.
  • Working 2-1 with the person.
  • Mileage - 40p per mile
  • UK driving license required (no vehicle required)

  • Weekend work undertaken on a rota basis
