Full Job Description

The role of a Support Worker involves promoting independent personal care skills, daily living skills and social activities, increasing their confidence and to be as independent as possible in all aspects of their lives. We will provide you with a structured training program leading to a diploma at Level 3 with a range of other learning opportunities and the encouragement to develop your career further.

  • Professional knowledge and experience of working in a care setting and / or NVQ Level 2 in Adult Social Care or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Empathy and a passion to support others

We are currently recruiting to the following posts: Support Worker 16 hours per week - weekly hours can vary due to shift patterns but over a three week rota is 48 hours - Grade D/E - £10,553.08 - £10,889.94 Support Workers 28 hours per week - weekly hours can vary due to shift patterns but over a three week rota is 69 hours - Level D/E - £18,467.89 - £19,057.41, You will receive a competitive salary with guaranteed payment of your contracted hours. You will receive an unsociable hours premium and sleepover payment. The salary grade on appointment will be determined by qualifications and experience.
