Full Job Description
As a Supported Housing Team Leader, you will be responsible for the management of the sheltered housing schemes and telecare assistive technology service which includes delivery of a support service to tenants living in sheltered housing schemes, extra care sheltered housing, annual telecare re-evaluation service, assessment and installation of telecare alarm technology.
- A sound working knowledge of the needs of older people and experience of working within a supported housing environment.
- Experience of supervising one or more dispersed teams.
- A proven track record of working within a pressurised, customer focused environment, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically at all levels. You will possess good administration and IT skills and demonstrate the ability to work within a busy and demanding environment. A qualification in management/customer service or a related subject would be advantageous. Attendance at occasional evening or weekend meetings will be required. The successful applicant will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. A driving licence and access to a car or other satisfactory means of transport is essential for the role.
