We have positions available in and around the Southbourne area providing care and support for adult with a range of needs including Autism complex care needs in a supported living setting on a one to one basis.

Because this role involves going out and about in the community, applicants must have a full UK driving license and have access to own vehicle.

The shift pattern is a mixture of 1600-2200 or 0300-2100, with some weekends included, working 0800-1600 or 0700-1500.

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and creative people with a good sense of humour to support clients who are friendly but also active! So you will be on your feet a lot.

No two days are the same, where there are all sorts of fun activities and outings happening all the time - helping achieve key goals and aspirations such as swimming, cycling and running, baking or arts and crafts!

Applicants will need to have experience of working of supporting people with Autism and understand that Clients sometimes communicate through behaviours, so demonstrating proactive and positive approaches is essential.

A typical day might include;
- using your own experience to support good life skills and independence
- maintaining accurate care plans, finances, appointments, medication and other records,
- following support plans, ensuring the client feels happy and comfortable and reacting to their needs in real time
- supporting elements of personal care from personal hygiene prompts, helping to bath and wash and medication
