Are you an experienced and compassionate Nurture Teacher looking to provide individualized support in a specialist setting? Our school in Slough is looking for a Nurture Teacher to join our team and provide therapeutic education and nurturing support for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Role Overview: As a Nurture Teacher, you will work with students who require extra emotional and educational support, creating a warm and safe environment where they can thrive. Your role will involve delivering tailored nurture-based interventions, focusing on building students' social, emotional, and academic skills to help them succeed in school and beyond.,
- Plan and deliver individualized nurture-based lessons and interventions to students with SEMH needs.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that focuses on building students' emotional resilience.
- Work closely with other staff, parents, and external agencies to implement support strategies and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and well-being, making adjustments to teaching strategies where necessary.
- Provide individual and group support to help students manage their emotions and behaviors.
