We are looking for a Nurse who can demonstrate experience in delivering care for the acutely ill adult. The Surgical Nurse Practitioner team provides support for the patients within the Surgical Division and is first point of contact for all acutely ill patients out of hours as part of the Hospital at night team. You must have a positive attitude with well-developed interpersonal skills, leadership, vision and drive to fulfill this key organizational role. Successful candidates will be able to work autonomously and manage their own work load.
There are many educational opportunities within this post. You will be on part 1 or 12 NMC register. You must be able to provide evidence of recent ongoing professional development. It is essential to possess a relevant qualification and experience for the care of the acutely ill adult
Desirable qualities include Physical Assessment courses, Prescribing, IRMER and ALS.
