Surveyor - Operational Real Estate Value & Risk Advisory

An exciting role in a growing team for a valuation specialist or highly analytical and financially literate candidate servicing clients across Europe for a leading and highly regarded specialist operational real estate valuation team with a focus on self storage.

The role involves the delivery of loan security and accounts valuations, feasibility studies, pricing support and consulting work for a range of external clients and internal stakeholders (including debt and corporate finance teams). This will include:

• Providing one-off and portfolio valuations within a team;


• Single assets and portfolio transactions support;


• Consulting work relating to benchmark data compilation and market insights gained through valuation experience;


• Maintaining a high standard of client service and delivery;


• Assisting in generating new business.


• Exposure primarily to Excel but also Argus Enterprise
  
  MRICS qualification (DCF experience preferable);


• Practical understanding of commercial property and valuations (particularly discounted cashflows).


• Market knowledge desirable; preferably in alternative and operational asset classes (such as self storage, automotive, airports, hotels, student housing and other specialist assets).


• Financial modelling skills and experience with Microsoft Excel are essential, knowledge of Argus Enterprise desirable.


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook essential.


• Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and have strong attention to detaill.


• Must be flexible and a team player;


• Must have a strong verbal and numerical skills and be comfortable with report writing;


• Must be customer-service driven with excellent inter-personal skills.
