- 14:00, early finish at 13:00 each Friday Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Survival Equipment Supervisor to be based at our site at RNAS Yeovilton located in Somerset. This role is responsible for the management of Survival Equipment (SE) maintenance, servicing, and defect rectification requirement to meet the requirements of a busy operational Air Station.
Serco are proud to support the Fleet Air Arm, including the Commando Helicopter Force and Wildcat Maritime Force based at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, delivering services ranging from the repair and maintenance of military aircraft to fuel delivery and off aircraft support services. Yeovilton is one of the Royal Navy`s two principal air stations, is one of the busiest military airfields in the UK and home to more than 100 aircraft., Coordinating and supervising any Operatives in the day-to-day workload activities by allocating work as instructed by their RN Line Manager.
- Managing survival equipment assets in accordance with the published procedures and instructions.
- To be authorised to certify supporting documentation.
- To support their Line/Serco Manager in the operational performance of their tasking, whilst maintaining a compliant, efficient and effective operation in line with contractual commitments and customer working procedures.
- Identifying options to develop the customer base and provide our customers with innovative solutions and capability options to support their plans and business goals.
- Ensuring retention of currency to fulfil current roles.
- To have the ability to work a day's routine or a shift pattern in accordance with the Customer and operational requirements.

They are required to hold appropriate professional qualifications and/or relevant experience to support Off-Aircraft operations at RNAS Yeovilton in the AESAS (Aircraft Engineering Support and Airfield Services) and supporting operational deliverables and interfaces in a highly regulated environment.
- You will be expected to have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the Armed Forces or industry, in conducting the maintenance, servicing and defect rectification and issue of Survival Equipment (SE).
- The ability to understand and work to technical manuals, completing documentation in accordance with the MAM-P.
- Be familiar with regulatory requirements, appropriate MoD legislation and local Serco and RNAS Yeovilton processes and procedures.
- Be familiar with the importance of tool control and the issue of fuels and lubricants.
- Health and Safety, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations, Tool Control and Quality Practices.
- Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to achieve MoD Security Clearance.

- Good attention to detail.
