Full Job Description

To support a Client in the delivery of key operational projects and work streams to enhance the sustainability performance of UK assets and support the operational requirements of our occupiers. To be a subject specialist in sustainability and compliance projects for UK assets, and be willing to travel across the UK portfolio to deliver our assets sustainability strategy. Responsibilities / Objectives

  • Support the UK assets with timely data collation and analysis.
  • Coordinate the Environmental & Energy Management System implementation to ensure continuous improvement in UK assets.
  • Lead on UK assets compliance audits, evidence submission and incident management.
  • Lead on UK assets internal audits, risks and non-conformity collation and management.
  • Identify local socio-economic issues and deliver projects, activities and events that deliver positive impacts.
  • Encourage UK asset teams to engage in community activity and volunteering opportunities.
  • Support the wider sustainability team in project delivery and business planning to achieve our sustainability strategy & climate risk requirements in UK assets
  • Key Measures of Success
  • Effective completion of accurate and timely data
  • Successful delivery of projects to address risk and meet targets
  • Delivery of a fully compliant EEMS in UK assets
  • Successful delivery of community projects, activities and events
  • Support the wider sustainability agenda and strategy for UK assets and occupiers
  • Good working relationships with a range of Hammerson teams to deliver outcomes for UK assets and occupiers
  • Clear understanding of sustainability as it is delivered within the UK assets.

    Relevant degree or proven experience in a similar role
  • Essential Experience/Skills
  • Enthusiasm for sustainability
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with different colleagues and stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office with the ability to use web based systems
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Demonstrable attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative and self-motivate
  • Ability to work in teams and build effective working relationships
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver work across multiple assert
  • Desirable Experience/Skills -
  • Experience managing projects
  • Experience in community or sustainability work
  • Experience in working across a national portfolio
  • Contractor/Partner/Supplier management experience
