Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively., As the Sustainability Data Owner, you will oversee the implementation management and continual improvement of SZC's Sustainability Data Environment, ensuring seamless data flow from collection to actionable insights. You'll manage sustainability data reporting across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) themes while supporting the integration of sustainability practices across our supply chain and internal processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical infrastructure project while making a measurable difference in sustainable development.

Strong data management skills Handling a broad array of data to meet multifaceted business requirements Good knowledge of data quality checks and validation Understanding of data integration tools and techniques Familiarity with general database design/cloud-based platforms Understanding of how to generate insights from raw data and effectively communicate them Skills in the following applications: Advanced use of Excel Some experience with Power BI (or similar visualisation tools) Project Management with a focus on digital applications/projects Ability to work closely with a number of stakeholders Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-departmental work. Ability to translate technical data into business-relevant insights. Understanding of industry methods for measuring carbon, water and waste KPIs A working knowledge of sustainability and ESG in the UK relevant to a construction site, plus knowledge of the supporting industry best practice. An understanding of key sustainability issues, preferably with specialist knowledge of environmental issues relevant to the company, and reporting and benchmarking methodologies. Understanding of ESG standards and frameworks, Strategic thinking and the ability to identify improvements to existing data flows Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex datasets Strong collaborative, cross functional working skills Bachelor's degree in Data Science or related field; a Master's is desirable. Experience with capturing data from a number of stakeholders (ideally in a Client - Supply Chain Partner capacity) Member of a related Professional Body

  • Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue.
  • 25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025. This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue.
