Our work matters to millions. It'll matter to you too. Join our Power T&D team as a Sustainability Data & Reporting Analyst - Derby and you'll be a big part of fascinating, complex, varied and meaningful work. What you'll be doing

  • Understand contribution to statutory and non-statutory sustainability reporting
  • requirements
  • Day to day support for the operation, maintenance and development of the Balfour Beatty Sustainability Portal to support the implementation of the Building New Futures sustainability strategy:
  • Sustainability Portal Operation:
  • Obtain, review and upload supplier and internal data monthly Allocate data to business units / projects / contracts / sites monthly Monthly data export and analysis
  • Sustainability Portal Maintenance:
  • Proactive training and guidance for Sustainability Portal users within the team Proactively contribute to process improvement and attend regular Sustainability Portal and Dashboard improvement and support sessions
  • Sustainability Portal Development:
  • Identify (though direct use and through supporting other users) potential improvements to the Sustainability Portal functionality and collaborate with IT & other stakeholders to implement system improvements based on business need
  • Collation and input into Client's quantification tools/systems on a monthly and
  • quarterly basis
  • Working with the Carbon Task Force team to assist with data collection,
  • quantification, monitoring and reporting
  • Support sustainability data provision for internal and external audit (providing
  • reports etc), specifically at half year and year end
  • Collate, produce and distribute monthly Environmental Sustainability Dashboards

    Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills essential
  • Experience in using IT systems and applications including Excel, Word,
  • PowerPoint etc.
  • Experience in large-scale data handling & processing to a high standard
  • Achieves results through own personal effectiveness, problem-solving, working
  • inclusively as part of a team and influencing peers and other stakeholders
  • Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • A basic knowledge of the key principles of sustainability and carbon
  • Knowledge of Power BI desirable
