Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support on the implementation and execution of Red Bull UK's sustainability strategy - giving wiiings to people and ideas, driving change and innovation and leaving playgrounds better than they were found. The sustainability graduate will have a strong data analytics background and will form part of the core sustainability team here in the UK. Therefore, a huge part of the role will be taking responsibility for gathering and analysing data to assess the impact of business operations, track progress, and identify areas for improvement. This will range from carbon footprinting to event impact assessments, material sourcing and recyclability, wider Environmental, Social and Governance metrics and more. We're really looking for someone who can build this from the ground up - someone who loves data, who has a strong understanding of scenario modelling and forecasting, who can extract and clean data from multiple databases and is meticulous in data validation. The graduate will also use their skills and passion to create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Above all, the purpose of this role lies with a real drive and belief that we can make the difference. RESPONSIBILITIESAreas that play to your strengths All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Alongside the sustainability manager, drive and deliver on the Red Bull UK Sustainability Strategy
  • Conduct research on sustainability best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends, providing innovative solutions to improve on our sustainability efforts in line with wider business goals Assist in the planning, execution, and management of sustainability projects, such as point-of-sale recyclability and asset tracking
  • Critically analyse a wide variety of data sources
  • Determine essential requirements for both legal and voluntary compliance, ensuring all raw data is accurate, consistent, and auditable Assist in preparing sustainability reports, including data visualisation, for both internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Own the data collection of defined sustainability metrics and report as necessary to internal and external stakeholders
  • Define and deliver progress updates and work with respective partners to improve on performance Ensure sustainability commitments and targets are appropriately embedded into key tools, systems, and ways of working Use the data and trend analyses to identify and recommend areas for improvements. These trends may be overarching or department specific
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement, operations, and marketing, to integrate sustainability initiatives across departments
  • Drive action across Red Bull UK using data and science-backed evidence, building trust and credibility of the team and function Act as a liaison between departments to ensure consistent and accurate collection of sustainability data, coordinating with teams across finance, operations, and marketing to align reporting efforts Support on building an effective network to understand common sustainability challenges internally

  • Ideally a degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience or involvement in climate or sustainability-related projects /initiatives
  • Practical experience in gathering, analysing, and interpreting environmental data including trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Comfort with numerical data, translating quantitative findings into actionable insights and understanding of how data insights can drive business decisions
  • Experience conducting research and producing reports or presentations based on findings with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of key sustainability concepts and reporting frameworks
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, and experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions for sustainability challenges, such as reducing environmental impact or enhancing resource efficiency
  • A drive to learn, and a willingness to stay updated on the latest sustainability trends, regulations, and innovations, and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally, as well as autonomously and manage deadlines
