Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Sustainability Lead, a pivotal role to deliver our transformation programme within the Environment plus (E+) team. In this key role, you will be responsible for effecting change within operational teams building an organisational culture of trust, change awareness & acceptance to ensure change initiatives are sustained. Your role will be integral in ensuring change initiatives are closely aligned with the business objectives of compliance, efficiency and customer and utilise a range of change techniques to drive sustainable change including feedback loops to ensure the a plan do review approach is followed. You will be working closely with Implementation Mangers to ensure initiatives, programmes and projects have been reviewed for change readiness and change plans are in place. Your key accountabilities will include :

  • Using a range of engagement techniques / touch points to ensure change initiatives are aligned to key business priorities and ensure buy in from key stakeholders from Area Managers through to frontline field teams
  • Building a change management programme for initiatives and plans to include robust and comprehensive communication plans, monitoring and ensuring these plans are delivered
  • Working closely with the Benefits Business Analyst to address variance, understand reasons for non-sustainable change and instigate plans to address the cultural elements of this
  • Mentor seconded operators from frontline teams to carry out Operator practical assessment and hands on training for competent operator programmes
  • Proactively partner with the technical training manager to ensure training for new working practices & processes are incorporated into existing training programmes

    To be successful in this role, you will have strong proficiency in change management with good background of project management ideally with an exposure of embedding change post transition stage.
  • You will be a confident communicator with excellent relationship building skills and ability to influence to achieve the desired change. Proven tenacity to work at pace with deadlines with a balance of being flexible to accommodate to changing demands of work is highly desirable for this role. You will ideally have experience of change management techniques such as ADKAR / Kotter, Lean, six sigma, Root cause analysis (CAST / Bowtie) with project / change Management qualifications (PMP, APM).
