Sustainability Officer

We're looking for an enthusiastic Sustainability Officer to join our team and support the Head of Sustainability in delivering our new Sustainability and ESG Strategy, as well as driving key projects across the business. In this dynamic new role, you will assist in preparing sustainability reports, assessments, and briefings to monitor and enhance our performance. You will also have the opportunity to create engaging communication materials and learning resources to raise awareness and promote sustainability throughout the organisation. In addition, you'll also be instrumental in supporting and developing our approach to measuring and evaluating sustainability performance, ensuring we continue to progress. You will also help identify and explore opportunities to trial innovative low carbon and smart technology projects that can help drive our mission forward. • Experience within an environmental or sustainability related post
• Proven administration experience
• Experience of writing communication materials or social media posts
• Excellent communication skills including ability to write reports and present data
• Strong commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency
• Good IT skills - experience using Outlook, Teams and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations for meetings as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull and Central Park, Worcester. Check out some of our great benefits:
