Full Job Description

  • Perform product audits on a wide range of items to confirm compliance to the documented requirements and the applicable workmanship standards
  • Provide feedback to the Production Technicians and as such, the applicant should be confident in providing written and more importantly verbal feedback to Production Technicians
  • Work with Operations Supervision/Technical support to agree corrective actions to prevent recurrence

    Experience of Manufacturing including assembly/inspection or test
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of an organisation with the ability to provide feedback tactfully and manage to get message across
  • Ability to plan and organise own work
  • IT Skills (Word/Excel) - need to produce reports in Excel especially
  • Desirable:
  • Experience working with electro, mechanical or optical assemblies
  • Ideally the candidate will be certified to IPC-A-610 although training will be provided
  • Understanding of root cause tools and techniques
  • Awareness of Aerospace Operator Self-Verification Programs AS9162

    An exciting opportunity exists within the Operations Technical Support Quality team to work as part of a team to continually improve the Quality of products manufactured at our Electronic Systems site in Rochester. Self-Verification programs are applied to improve the overall efficiency and product quality of processes. SVP is one of our key drivers to ensure quality products are manufactured at Rochester and as such, the candidate must have the self-motivation to play a key role in driving the expansion of the SVP Process.
