In the role of Swim Teacher, you will be key to supporting all of our objectives and in many ways. This will start with ensuring our customers of all ages are getting the best swimming lesson possible. A full training programme will be provided and for those that want to go further, we will work with you to develop a career path with us.

  • Level 2 ASA Swim Teacher qualification.
  • To teach swim lessons with experience of complex needs as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience.
  • Relevant qualifications of Continuous Professional Development (Desirable).
  • To communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme.
  • To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
  • An ability to deal with children and their parents.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
