SWLM02 Senior Maternity Transformation Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Transformation Project Manager to join the South West LondonMaternity and Neonatal Programme team.The successful candidates will support the continued implementation of the maternity transformation strategy - working closely with provider trusts as well as other stakeholders to drive forward the programme at pace.The postholders will have operational and strategic experience in the direct delivery of maternity and neontal care along with the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment with conflicting deadlines.Along with strong project, digital knowledge and skills. and programme management skills the postholders will to be an excellent communicator to build strong relationships with colleagues and peers across the whole of South West London footprint along with regional and national colleagues.They will work alongside clinicians across primary and secondary care, along with colleagues in each of the SWL local delivery units (Croydon, Kingston, Contribute to the strategic planning of maternity projects, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.

Contribute to the development of performance and governance strategies and the development and implementation of improvement programmes, in accordance with the ICS.

Contribute to short, medium and long term business plans to achieve quality outcomes.

Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered on time, to quality standards and in a cost effective manner, adjusting plans as required.

Determine the strategic planning of the maternity programme projects, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.
