Full Job Description

Are you experienced in supporting and maintaining IT systems? Would you like to work for an organisation that is making a real difference in our natural world? The RSPB is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer within the Technology Operations Run team to support our existing line of business systems.

What's the role about?

As a Systems Engineer within the Technology Operations Run team, you will work to support and leverage value from our existing line of business systems, services, and infrastructure, along with supporting the more tactical demands of the Customer Service Desk in a second or third-line support capacity.

You'll be partnering with business owners, product managers and project managers to advise how best to utilise existing systems and working alongside colleagues in the Change team to ensure the seamless transition of stable platforms and services into the live environment.

Above all else, you'll be an advocate for saving nature. Nature is in big trouble - the climate crisis and loss of habitat are pushing some of our best loved species towards extinction. We won't let nature fall silent. This role is your chance to make real change possible. What do you say?
