Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced person to join our programme team for 12 months to support the successful implementation of an electronic bed management system across both acute hospital sites.

This is an exciting programme which will help our staff to manage patient flow, and our patients getting to the right place, first time using a new command centre., To support the successful implementation of the new Electronic Bed Management System across Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

Act as a key liaison between clinical and non-clinical staff in respect to the development and implementation

To promote awareness/engagement of EBMS, via several different forums

To undertake regular engagement sessions within the clinical areas across the service, to support the implementation of new system/process.

Support staff in adopting new ways of working. Through Audit and Data Quality ensure that staff are competent, offering support and Training if appropriat

Support the PM and external partner (Oracle Health), to prepare implement and evaluate transition plans, testing and rehearsal schedules during implementation, upgrade & enhancement

Support the workforce to use the system, maximising quality and efficiency, ensuring staff are aware and promote the adoption of IT enabled ways of working., 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream

You will need a background in operations and experience of transformation. You do not require a formal project management qualification for this role.
