Full Job Description

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Digital Defence Services team following continuous growth and success. Within Digital Defence Services, we are a critical partner to the UK Ministry of Defence in their adoption of secure digital solutions that enable multi-domain integration and data exploitation, which provides the advantage to those who serve and protect us. Positioned within a thriving Digital Defence Services Business Unit and part of a wider vibrant Security Consulting Community from across other Sectors, you will be supported in the role and have opportunity learn and develop, with clear pathways defined for your career progression in the organisation.

You will have experience in many of the following:

  • Be familiar with operating and maintaining both Microsoft Windows Server and RedHat Linux
  • Generate and maintain support logs detailing patching status, 3rd party dependencies, root-cause-analysis outcomes
  • Build and maintain server support and monitoring technologies such as Grafana
  • Experience working with other industry partners, and technical and non-technical customers
  • Generate and maintain detailed documentation and how-to-guides for the BAE services
  • Understanding of server-side certificates, Kerberos/Keycloak, MS Active Directory, and such authentication
  • Familiarity with the core technologies used on-site, namely ElasticSearch, NiFi, Kibana, MS SQL server (Desirable)
  • Due to the nature of our business and requirements in this role you must:
  • Hold an MoD/Partner DV
  • Be a UK National (Essential)
  • Be able to work on-site (London or West Country) in one of the customer's sites (4 days per week, Essential, 5 days per week, Preferred)
