Full Job Description
- Supporting research and new product development in Eaton's Mission Systems Division (MSD).
- Responsible for requirements management, system architecture development, and supporting system integration and test.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to other SE engineers based in US and in Global Teams as well as serve as an individual contributor.
- The product and systems are thermal fluid and dynamic mechanical systems that support aerospace applications.
- These aerospace applications are diverse and will primarily include aircraft refuelling, and actuation systems.
- Self-motivated to proactively learn about the technical domain of the given system and identify how and where the systems engineering discipline can create the highest value.
- Experience tailoring systems engineering practices to program scope and need.
- Work as a member and partner of the product team generating SE work products and providing technical guidance to incorporate systems engineering methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline from an accredited institution. - Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace industry as System Engineer
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with MBSE using SySML language
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a group delivering SE work products
- Demonstrated ability to balance SE discipline with product teams. Skills:
- Master's degree in System Engineering.
- 5 years of experience with CAMEO
- 5-10 years of experience with DOORS
- 5 years of direct experience managing engineering groups
- Direct experience with participation in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR..)
- Demonstrated experience supporting complete product life cycle.
- Relationship building and ability to balance SE discipline into programs
- Demonstrated experience working with global M&S teams
