Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support the development of reports, systems, and workflows.
  • Assist in CMO (Collective Management Organisation) deal negotiations as needed.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analytical reporting and create dashboards to enhance data insights and reporting processes.
  • Deliver accurate reporting to CMOs.
  • Support system and workflow development, from concept to end-user testing.
  • Maintain and distribute up-to-date training materials and tracking documentation.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all internal systems and reporting processes
  • Manage account set-ups and provide training as required for internal music metadata-based systems.
  • Offer support as required in all areas related to music systems, reporting, analysis, and administrative tasks, adapting to evolving business requirements.

    The MML Systems & Reporting team sits within the Music & Media Licensing ('MML') department at Paramount and focuses on music-related systems, reporting, and analysis. We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and proactive Music Systems & Reporting Analyst to join our small, dynamic team supporting global business. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Systems & Reporting., 3+ years of experience in music royalties, reporting, or a similar field.
  • Background in finance, data analytics, business management, economics, or mathematics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in analytical and data visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Advanced Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with experience meeting tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with cue sheets, royalty reporting, collecting societies, record labels, music publishers, and Production Music Libraries.
  • Aptitude for logical thinking and creative problem-solving; curiosity about how systems and processes work with a drive to improve them.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., AirTable) is desirable.
