An exciting opportunity has arisen for Systems & Verifications Engineers to join Rolls-Royce Submarines. Our Systems Engineering and Verification Engineers are responsible for ensuring oversight of our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. This is an integration role where you will work to enable all engineering teams through coaching and support to successfully develop robust, verified engineering solutions against robust validated customer requirements. What you'll be doing: You will interface between external and internal customers, to elicit and validate all stakeholder requirements; including business, technical customers and partners.

  • Set the Systems Engineering and Verification approach for an Engineering Programme through the relevant management plans.
  • Ensure sufficient rigor is put into requirements validation and verification, to remove technical risk.
  • Develop product verification strategy, structured verification plan and Product Development Plan.
  • Manage the creation of substantiation evidence, clearance/acceptance documentation that meets the demand for the project.
  • Be the point of contact within the project to support and coach the team regarding Systems Engineering, Validation and Verification activities, driving the right V&V behaviours within the project.

  • Degree level in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have a strong understanding of Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in the Nuclear industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience of working with relevant SE software applications eg DOORS / CAMEO
  • Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Have a strong delivery record with an understanding of programme management.
