Tailormade Trading Executive

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Tailormade Trading Executive to join us! This is a fixed Term Contract to cover Mat Leave. This is a role that brings high reward for hard work and the chance to develop an awesome career in the travel industry. Duties include:

• Liaising with overseas suppliers to achieve hotel rates for our Travel Advisors
• Working with our Travel Advisors to obtain hotel rates in order to create personal holiday experiences
• Maintaining excellent relationships with hotel suppliers and DMCs
• Identifying commercial opportunities with suppliers
• Communicate special offers to our Travel Advisors

  In 1988, and until 2002, Classic Collection Holidays was a small tour operator selling upmarket package holidays to the Canary Islands, Madeira and Mallorca. From 2002 until 2018, the company grew to become a successful mid-sized predominantly tour-operator-to-travel-agent provider of mainly short-haul luxury holidays.
On The Beach plcs acquisition of, and investment in, Classic Collection Holidays in 2018, allowed the company, under independent management, to grow its portfolio of tailor-made luxury holidays for Classic Collection Holidays, and to launch two sibling brands, trade-friendly Classic Collection and trade-only booking portal, Classic Package Holidays. In May 2024, Classic Collection and Classic Package Holidays combined to become Classic Collection. Operating a single brand and a single platform, Classic Collection became 100% trade-focussed, and introduced a more efficient way of working to help exploit opportunities for growth to the benefit of agent partners, mutual customers and third party suppliers.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week; working 2 days a week in the On the Beach offices and 3 days from home.,
