Full Job Description

We're looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Assistant to help us shape the future of recruitment at Avanti Schools Trust. Join our newly reimagined People Services team as we embark on an exciting new chapter. You'll be at the heart of an encouraging and evolving team, supporting end-to-end recruitment processes and contributing to impactful People Services projects. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid role, with the option to work from home, spend at least one day in the office, and travel to other sites as needed. What will you do? Operational Delivery:

  • Collaborate with team members and hiring managers to support the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Schedule interviews, manage candidate communications, and handle onboarding and documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, headhunting, and reference checks.
  • Applicant Tracking System and Talent Data:
  • Maintain and update recruitment databases.
  • Continuously improve ATS functionality and report any anomalies or trends.
  • Trust-wide Project Support:
  • Contribute to People Services projects related to Talent Acquisition, helping shape policies and practices for optimal outcomes.
  • One PS Team Contributions:
  • Collaborate with the Partnering team and People Services Advisors to address talent pipeline issues and improve services.

    Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in managing and optimising administrative systems and processes
  • Demonstrable experience working in a customer service environment
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and pay attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and manage their own time effectively
