If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as a Talent Acquisition Consultant., We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting and recruiting top talent to support our business operations across the UK. DFDS are a leading company in the shipping and logistics industry, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for the office-based vacancies across the UK, and we shall need you to be responsible for -
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the best fit for various roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide expert advice.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Join our dynamic recruitment team made up of 5 people, working in a collaborative and vibrant open-plan office. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant or in a similar role. We want you to help define and shape our recruitment strategy, ensuring an excellent candidate experience. You should possess a strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), jobs boards and HR basic knowledge of HR processes is required. While knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry is a plus, the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is crucial.
