Full Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for talent attraction and acquisition at the Club. This role involves developing and implementing processes and approaches which ensure we can attract diverse talent.

This is an exciting time to join the Club, which has ambitious growth plans over the next few years. This is a new position, in the recently formed People & Culture team, which will allow the successful candidate to create an innovative approach to acquiring talent.,

  • Work with the Head of People & Culture to implement effective and inclusive recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

  • Collaborate with senior managers to understand staffing needs and future hiring needs, build and maintain a talent pool to meet these needs.

  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and selection process.

  • Conduct market mapping and head-hunting activities to directly source talent and create a talent pipeline.

  • Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment agencies.

  • Manage the agency preferred supplier list for permanent, fixed term and casual staff.Ensuring supply meets peaks in demand for certain roles that have seasonal demand.

  • Develop and implement effective assessment tools and techniques, including interview packs.

  • Provide training and support to hiring managers to understand job requirements and team dynamics.

  • Foster relationships with potential candidates through proactive outreach and engagement.

  • Support with the development of the Employer Brand, ensuring it promotes the company as an employer of choice.

  • Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and industry conferences.

  • Ownership for emerging talent - graduates, apprentices, interns and work placements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.

  • Analyse recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.

  • Creation of Offer Letters and facilitation of pre-boarding processes.

    Proven experience in a similar role.

  • Strong background in recruiting for a variety of roles and levels within an organisation.

  • Experience of direct sourcing for candidates.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
