Full Job Description

department | people reporting to | talent acquisition + employer brand manager location | hybrid model with regular travel required across your region + visits to our london hq 2-4 times per month what's the job all about?

  • you'll be responsible for executing the talent acquisition strategy for one of our operational regions, working closely with the people business partner to understand the succession plan + where proactive external talent acquisition is required
  • you'll partner with our area manager team, challenging their thinking + supporting them to find the best management talent for our restaurants by providing the best candidates through screening direct applicants + direct sourcing in hard to recruit areas
  • you'll be passionate about suggesting + implementing innovative new ways to source talent, including direct approach, so the best candidates are presented for interview + selected we love to spread positivity from bowl to soul, so you will ensure all candidates have a brilliant experience with wagamama regardless of whether they are successful or not
  • you'll provide regular reporting on talent acquisition + use our ATS to inform decisions and support restaurants to meet their resourcing requirements
  • you'll deliver talent for one of our restaurant regions which can include up to 60 restaurants

    experience recruiting for a restaurant brand for management level positions, particularly head chefs is essential
  • you'll have a minimum of 12 months experience in a high-volume recruitment role
  • you will be super organised + enjoy pipelining future talent
  • you are always one step ahead, building connections + planning recruitment before it's needed
  • experience of using an applicant tracking system is essential
  • the ability to work towards deadlines + in a fast paced environment
  • you will be very collaborative + enjoy sharing best practice + learnings with the wider team
  • you will be used to managing multiple stakeholders + providing them with insights around recruitment
