Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Analyst Intern to join our dynamic Talent Strategy Team at CCI, a premier energy merchant trading company with offices in London for a 6 - 12 month internship. This role will support our Senior Internal Recruiter in identifying and mapping top talent within the energy markets across Asia, Europe, and the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a passion for conducting in-depth research and analysis be detail oriented, organized, with database experience.,

  • Conduct comprehensive online research to identify potential candidates in the energy trading sector across Asia, Europe, and the US.
  • Build and maintain extensive market maps for traders and other key roles within the energy market, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Update existing market maps to reflect changes in employment, job roles, and relocations within the industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Internal Recruiter to align research efforts with recruitment strategies and priorities.
  • Conduct general market research on various companies in the energy industry.
  • Research and document industry news.
  • Utilize various online platforms and databases to gather and verify information on potential candidates.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings for internal stakeholders.

    Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • Some experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within financial services/trading environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough research
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce presentations and maintain databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with recruitment databases and tools.
  • Must be able to work minimum 20 hours per week.
  • Must be able to come into London office minimum one day per week.
