Full Job Description

The Shared Talent Acquisition Manager leads recruiting excellence through talent attraction and selection that will build skills capability for the organization and drive key results for the company. This role serves as a strategic thought partner to the business and is responsible for planning and developing proactive recruiting strategies to attract diverse talent by leveraging internal / external systems and tools to drive hiring results at both properties. The Talent Acquisition Manager manages full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing and evaluation of internal and external candidates. This position partners closely with hiring managers and people and culture teams to ensure a collaborative approach to talent planning, attraction and selection. This person contributes to Four Seasons strategic plan by selecting high performing team members to drive business results.

Main Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy

1. Oversee full lifecycle recruiting of top tier candidates including sourcing, screening, interviewing, providing feedback / recommendations, and assisting the candidate through offer negotiations and acceptance.

2. Develop creative approaches to support the Talent Acquisition Roadmap in identifying and attracting qualified, diverse, active and passive candidates for open positions and future opportunities.

3. Identify and leverage the right internal / external systems and tools to build talent pipeline, internet sourcing, multi-media advertising, social media, job fairs, university fairs, networking, community involvement / partnerships and third-party assistance, when necessary.

4. Builds appropriate and meaningful relationships with University and Colleges; including hospitality schools globally.

5. Build talent pipeline for critical and confidential leadership positions.

6. Leverage Workday (HRIS) to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidate pipelines and recruiting activities.

7. Ensure outstanding candidate experiences throughout the interview, offer, and onboarding process.

8. Learn from others: continually gather feedback from candidates and our interviewing team (including surveys, departure feedback and conversations) to continuously improve.

9. Partner and build strong relationships with the leadership team and global talent acquisition team to determine business staffing needs.

10. Develop and implement cost effective recruitment plans that minimize time-to-fill, optimize fit and retention and place top-quality, diverse candidates in open positions.

11. Review team performance and coaches weekly to ensure we are hitting all key talent acquisition metrics which includes time to fill.

12. Provide counsel to hiring managers on matters pertinent to internal mobility and external hiring to ensure adherence to established company policies and procedures; and compliance with UK Labour Laws.

13. Recommend, and manage local third-party vendors, headhunters, and job Boards.

14. Ensures the manning guide is accurate and reflects the budget for the year.

15. Manages external platforms such as Caterer and relevant communication to business partners.

16. Manages internal communication of candidate activities and progress reports to all stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, internal notice boards, Microsoft Viva Engage, etc.)

17. Measure and report on talent pool KPIs, including throughput, candidate

experience and successful hires.

Reporting and Talent Planning

1. Assess future hiring needs through proactive People Planning activities and understands key metrics to meet hiring goals. Build recruiting strategy to support.

2. Manage talent acquisition reporting activities and provides meaningful summaries and insights to business leaders.

1. Leverage employer branding and proactively looks for innovative and new industry best practices with recruiting, interviewing, and sourcing to ensure we are hiring top talent, managing silver medalists and applicant regrets / referrals.

2. Ensure all candidates walk away from their experience with a positive image of the Four Seasons Brand.

3. Advertise and promote relevant internal opportunities to current employees.

4. Works closely with Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure all recruitment avenues- including Instagram, TikTok, etc. are brand appropriate. Partner with public relations teams as necessary.

5. Stays connected with talent acquisition leaders in the local market to stay up to date with market trends and city-wide job openings.

6. Attends local industry events when required to network, build pipeline, talent hunt, share our brand and build future connections.

7. Manage the Four Seasons Internship and Manager in Training program in partnership with the Learning and Development Manager.

Miscellaneous

1. Partner with people and culture when supporting the workforce with policy related questions, concerns, internal progression, etc.

2. To conduct hotel tours for student groups, in a manner and style consistent with the atmosphere and ambience of the hotel.

3. To assist with general people and culture activities, including correspondence, recruitment and selection of placement and work experience students, exit interviews, social events coordination, etc.

4. To comply with statutory and company policy requirements in terms of fire, food hygiene, health and safety, etc.

5. To undertake function related project work, as and when directed by the Director of People and Culture or General Manager.

6. To comply with hotel purchasing and stores requisition procedures, in respect of internal and external supplies.

7. To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, whilst outside the normal daily routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
