Full Job Description
We're looking for a Talent Attraction Partner to help fill corporate Head Office vacancies across all functions and levels at McDonald's. A key part of the position is supporting Hiring Managers throughout the end-to-end recruitment process. This opportunity involves managing many partnerships, both internally and externally. Externally, you will work with recruitment agencies to find the best talent for niche roles, while also helping to reduce time-to-hire and recruitment costs. You'll have access to training and opportunities to develop through self-directed learning, coaching conversations, e-learning modules, and further qualifications via apprenticeships. What will my accountabilities be?
- Delivering end-to-end recruitment processes for multiple client areas, including but not limited to legal, marketing, and development (construction, acquisitions and estates).
- Designing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates using a variety of methods across multiple channels, e.g., Boolean string searches across platforms.
- Managing relationships and contracts with external recruitment agencies.
- Innovating and executing change through new resourcing projects, including developing new attraction strategies, campaigns, tools, and processes.
- Maintaining best practices and providing exceptional candidate care throughout the recruitment process by giving timely updates and professional communication to all parties.
- Working within a recruitment budget, managing invoices, maintaining records and reporting on expenditure.
- Creating a robust Preferred Supplier List (PSL), ensuring all Terms of Business are current and fit for purpose.
- Supporting the business by providing advice and guidance on contractors, with knowledge of IR35 and the different types of contractual agreements.
- Completing Applicant Tracking System (ATS) administration and maintenance (back and front end).
- Proactively supporting the wider recruitment team (Operations, Global, Franchising).
- Fostering strong relationships with Hiring managers, Human Resources, Finance and Legal.
- Completing project work as determined by the business to support strategic plans. What Team will I be a part? You will be part of the Talent Attraction team, which is part of the UK People Team. At McDonald's we use a business partnering model, which means that you will also work very closely with the wider HR team, whilst supporting managers from across all functions within the business. Who are my customers? This is an internal recruitment position, with the main responsibility of acting as a trusted advisor to the hiring community and key stakeholders in client areas, including but not limited to legal, construction, and marketing. You'll also have regular contact with corporate and restaurant head office teams to understand workforce needs and recruitment challenges. Your key stakeholders will be the Hiring Managers you partner with, as the role involves providing them with exceptional guidance. You'll also work closely with the wider People team, including People Tech, Reward, Education, L&D, HR among others. You'll also be a key point of contact for legal teams, external partner agencies, and recruitment agencies.
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment across multiple disciplines, with preferred exposure to hiring in legal, marketing, and/or construction.
- Proven track record of effectively managing relationships with external recruitment agencies, managing Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL), and ensuring all Terms of Business are current and fit for purpose.
- Knowledge of IR35 and different types of contractual agreements.
- Using innovative sourcing methods to attract quality candidates through multiple channels and sourcing platforms, with knowledge of Boolean searches, ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Skilled LinkedIn Recruiter user, experienced in headhunting both active and passive candidates.
- Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.
- Experienced in senior-level talent acquisition, hiring for roles at all levels, including head of department and director-level recruitment.
- Ability to manage expectations and time effectively while maintaining a client-focused attitude.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
