Full Job Description

We're seeking a Talent Manager to recruit top production and editorial talent, as well as assist with outreach to on-screen talent. This role spans our diverse and inspiring slate, from Wildlife, Adventure, Factual Entertainment, and Documentary programming.
As the Plimsoll Talent Manager, you'll play a vital role in attracting the best talent to produce our highly creative, award-winning content, and an integral part in ensuring we exceed our diversity recruitment goals and maintain our core values.
Role Summary:
Work closely with senior teams to identify and engage top creative and diverse behind-the-camera talent, including emerging professionals.
Network with freelancers to ensure you recruit the best candidates.
Be responsible for managing our database of CVs, tracking talent availability and serving as a key contact for all freelancers.
Collaborate with the senior team to ensure you have a full understanding of the production needs.
Write and post job ads, ensuring each job reaches as wide a talent pool as possible.
Ensure candidates have a positive experience when they approach Plimsoll for a role, managing communication and keeping candidates updated throughout the application process.
Identify strategies to attract diverse voices to work with us.
Assist the Head of Plimsoll USA with outreach to high-profile, on-screen talent.
Maintain a roster of agent relationships in the UK and US for on-screen talent

The ideal candidate will bring experience of an editorial role, demonstrate a thorough understanding of production dynamics, be comfortable engaging with agents representing on-screen talent, and excel in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. With strong communication skills and a proactive approach to networking, they will significantly contribute to enhancing the workplace culture and talent manager strategies.
