Full Job Description

Responsible for the safe handling, storage, quality assurance and movement of Aviation Product for the tank farm facility, refuelling aircraft as part of the operators night duties and supporting the ITP operation as management deems required.

  • Responsible for conducting duties in a timely manner, and supporting the safe, continuous operation of the facility, in accordance with Company Quality Control, stock control and Operating Standards, and contributes to the safe and controlled operation of the site.
  • Operating to the highest standards of Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) compliance; proactively assessing, identifying and reporting SSHE related matters or incidents; and fully participating and utilising Company safety tools.
  • Ensuring COMAH regulations are adhered to and work with the management team on a continuous improvement program
  • Performing routine and periodic Service & Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (M & R) of plant in line with the Company preventative maintenance systems, government, and industry standards
  • Receiving jet fuel via tanker truck.
  • Monitoring JV partner stock levels and Bridger receipts to ensure there is sufficient product to maintain an efficient and compliant operation.
  • Performing product quality control checks, through continual product monitoring, to ensure compliant receipt and release of product to customers.
  • Providing ITP when deemed necessary by the station manager
  • Prioritising requirements and allocation of resources, to ensure minimal downtime of plant equipment.
  • Delivering product to the apron via truck loading facilities.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with airport authorities and third parties, to facilitate the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of all controlled plant.
  • Maintaining records, updating systems including entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and site maintenance records.
  • Identifying potential plant operating issues and assisting in the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Assisting site maintenance staff with preventative maintenance systems where required; including the shutdown and re-commissioning of plant.
