Full Job Description
Youth Connect South West (YCSW) is looking for a proactive and motivated Targeted Team Leader to join our team, helping us deliver essential services to young people within the Bath and North East Somerset area. This role supports the Programme Manager in leading our Targeted Support Programme, which provides tailored support for young people facing a range of challenges, including family issues, mental health, and engagement in education, employment, and training. Please note, this service is currently up for retendering, which may impact the structure of the role or service in the future. We are committed to maintaining high-quality support for young people and will support all staff through any potential changes.,
- Lead and manage a team of Engagement Workers, supporting them to provide effective interventions for young people
- Collaborate with partner agencies, attend multi-agency meetings, and ensure young people's voices influence programme development
- Maintain accurate records, oversee caseloads, and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed
- Support the Programme Manager in developing a service that aligns with the B&NES Early Help Strategy
Holds a Level 3 qualification in Youth Work, Careers Information, Advice and Guidance, or equivalent - Has experience in managing a team and working directly with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of safeguarding, youth work, and multi-agency collaboration

As part of this commitment anyone working in a post with children or vulnerable groups will be expected to undertake an Enhanced DBS check with / without barred list checks.
