Full Job Description

Working as part of KPMG's growing AARTS team (audit and accounting related tax services), the role will cover both tax audit and tax reporting as follows: - Acting as the day to day contact on audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams, the client and AARTS/tax managers - Preparing tax accounting workings, working with our India based delivery centre. - Reviewing, testing and documenting technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and their independent advisers - Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables. - Developing and maintaining client relationships across a portfolio of clients; - Developing and maintaining internal relationships with the audit teams, and other departments; - Mentoring and developing of junior members of staff; - Keep up to date and share technical insights with rest of AARTS team. The Person - Anticipates the viewpoint of others, listens and addresses concerns - Builds co-operative relationships and champions an environment in which everyone's opinion is valued - Provides ongoing feedback, coaching and mentoring that supports individuals development needs and career aspirations - Proactively engages in cross-functional communications and sharing of information.

ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified; - Sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation and preferably awareness of international tax issues

  • Sound knowledge of accountancy principles, in particular accounting for tax (including deferred taxation and accounts disclosures)
  • - Ability to build good relationships with clients
  • Communicates with impact in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and clear

  • Strong time and task management skills. Able to remain calm when under pressure and meet deadlines
