Full Job Description
- Organise and collate TB Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings on a daily basis which includes liaising with Consultants and individual specialist areas assuring attention to detail is key at all times.
- Day to day organisation and diary management for up to 3 nurses.
- Working closely with senior team.
- Typing of patient letters in a timely and efficient manner within set timescales and excellent attention to detail.
- Dealing with patient enquiries while remaining professional and confidential. Excellent telephone manner is required for this role.
- Liaising with other Hospitals regarding patient results and second opinions and recording patient information accurately and confidentially.
- Confident with IT systems used.

Are you flexible, approachable and a team player?If so our friendly TB team are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our busy team , to assist with the day to day running of the TB Service. A good standard of English to O level/GCSE or equivalent is required and RSA/OCR level III WP/typing or equivalent knowledge and skills.Experience working in a support secretary role and familiarisation of medical terminology is desirable. Audio typing experience is also a requirement.A good knowledge of IT systems and excellent communication skills are also essential for this role - Development opportunities, both professional and leadership development
