Teacher in Business Ref: ME2425026 Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year annualised hours, 855 annual teaching hours. We would also consider applications for part time contracts. The Team The Business Team are very proud to support Northampton College's culture of high standards, an inclusive working and learning environment, and a professional committed workforce who are focussed on supporting our students to achieve the best they possibly can. The team comprises of fourteen experienced teachers many of whom come from an industrial as well as teaching background and who teach across the range of courses and levels offered (Level 1 to 5). We are a highly supportive, friendly, adaptable, and motivated team who work flexibly and closely together to achieve excellence in both our colleagues and our students. The Role The purpose of this role is to plan, teach and assess courses within the Business Curriculum ranging from levels 1 to 5. The Successful Candidate The successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

  • Industry experience from finance, marketing, sales & customer service or human resources/training.
  • A relevant qualification at degree level or an equivalent qualification in a vocational area.
  • Teaching experience would be an advantage (or willing to work towards).
  • A passion to share knowledge and skills with the next generation.
  • Organisational skills essential, along with excellent time management and accuracy.
