Teacher in Engineering Ref: ME2425035 Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year annualised hours, 855 annual teaching hours. We would also consider applications for part time contracts Salary: In the range of £30,581 - £36,454 per annum pro-rata for part time contracts. The Team The Engineering team works with students across a range of different courses from practical machining, mechanical & electronic engineering. Courses are run at levels 2 - 4. The Role Engineering Teacher The Successful Candidate The successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

  • Knowledge of microprocessors, PLCs, electrical safety, analogue and digital electronics and robotics.
  • Experience of measuring and testing and familiarity with electronic test equipment.
  • Experience of conducting and leading laboratory experiments.
  • Knowledge of electronic theory and mathematics.
  • Teaching or instructing experience.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
