  • Further details about the role Due to the exciting growth of our specialist provisions within The GORSE Academies Trust, which has seen Rainbow Base expand from 22 to 52 places over the last five years, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher for Rainbow Base, who has an outstanding record of achievement and is committed to the success of this Resource Provision. We are a provision which currently caters for the needs of 52 pupils with complex communication needs and/or autism. We are passionate about providing the best for our pupils and supporting them to become life-long, enthusiastic learners. We are seeking to appoint an individual who can continue to build on the outstanding practice currently in place for our wonderful children.

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • A proven track record of achieving academic excellence.
  • Evidence of implementing innovative approaches to learning, particularly in regard to children with ASD.
  • Experience of meeting the needs of children and young people who may benefit from specialist provision within a mainstream setting.
  • Resilience, energy and optimism.
