Teacher in Welding & Fabrication Ref: ME2425045 Hours: 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year annualised hours. 855 full time equivalent annual teaching hours Salary: In the range of £30,581 - £36,454 per annum pro-rata, actual salary in the range of £15,290 - £18,227 per annum (Dependent on skills, experience and qualifications) Reporting to: Curriculum Manager Primary Location: Northampton, Booth Lane Campus Closing Date: Sunday 24th November 2024 Interview Date: Thursday 5th December 2024 About Northampton College Northampton College is proud to be the leading provider of further education in the South East Midlands region. The Team We have a team of qualified tutors from various roles within the Welding & Fabrication industry. We are an incredibly supportive team with years of industry and education experience. The Role Tutor role would be suited to someone looking to support students learning, with particular focus on skills within Welding & Fabrication curriculum. You will use demonstrating/ tutoring/mentoring skills to enable students to learn new skills on their learning programmes. The Successful Candidate The successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

  • Knowledge and skills in all forms of Welding.
  • Knowledge and skills in all forms of Fabrication.
  • Operational knowledge of Plasma tables.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • Knowledge of Auto CAD and SolidWorks.
