Full Job Description
Due to an increase in student numbers, South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dynamic Teacher, Instructor or Lecturer of Food Technology at Bourne Academy. The successful candidate will teach across the age range, including examination groups. This is an exciting opportunity for ECTs, experienced teachers or instructors to join a thriving and highly motivated Trust (all our ECTs are well supported by an excellent induction programme). No previous teaching experience is required although you should possess a relevant degree with a view to pursuing a teaching career. For the right candidate, the Trust would be prepared to sponsor teacher training. The Department for Education have ranked South Lincolnshire Academies Trust as the 12th top performing Trust in the whole of England out of 213 Multi Academy Trusts with three or more schools. The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to teach GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition;
- The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results;
- Excellent organisational and ICT skills;
- Outstanding career progression opportunities;
- The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team;
