Full Job Description

  • Have recent experience of teaching and learning in an EYFS setting with a deep understanding and knowledge of the EYFS framework.

  • Lead the strategic implementation of the EYFS framework across our Pre-School and Foundation Stage 2.

  • Be responsible for maintaining high standards in Pre-School and Foundation Stage 2 including modelling these high standards in your own teaching practice (teaching in one of these year groups will be required).

  • Contribute to whole school improvement as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

  • Be ready to strategically drive our EYFS forward with an expertise in outdoor learning environments and an interest in the Forest School ethos.

    We are looking for an outstanding teacher and leader with drive and ambition for themselves and the children at Dore Primary School and Pre-School. Experience of teaching in Early Years is essential. An expertise in and a passion for Forest Schools would be advantageous. The successful candidate will work with both the Foundation Stage 2 and Pre-School teams as well as senior leaders on the leadership team They will contribute to whole school improvements and fulfil duties within the safeguarding team. The postholder will also forge meaningful links with Y1.
