A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a full time Art Teacher to work in the Art Department of one of our busy secondary schools. Are you passionate about Art and have a talent for inspiring creativity in others? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Art Teacher to nurture the next generation of creative thinkers. As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in various artistic mediums, guiding students in developing their own unique styles and fostering a love for the visual arts. You will design engaging art lessons, encourage imaginative expression, and create a supportive environment where students can explore their creativity.   • Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:
  • Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
  • Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
  • Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
  • You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
