The Art department has an ambitious, innovative curriculum which both supports and challenges students throughout the key stages. We have based this largely on the national curriculum scheme of learning, adapting and developing these ideas to ensure they fit the needs of our students. We have a bank of central lesson resources which support our staff with planning, foster collaboration and help embed consistency through the department. We also encourage teachers to be part of the creative process when reviewing and adapting the curriculum to ensure it is not only up to date but also exciting, creative and relevant.   You will be able to teach Art from Year 7 through to Year 13, with a drive for high expectations and a commitment to developing your teaching.
