Teacher of Business Studies and Economics

Required from January, April or September 2025. We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Business Studies and Economics, who has a commitment to developing good teaching and learning practices, leading to excellent student progress.

Business Studies and Economics are both extremely popular in KS4 and in our outstanding Sixth Form. In partnership with the Peter Jones Foundation, the school launched an International Enterprise Academy in September 2021. A successful candidate would benefit from exciting initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced team who have real ambition for these subjects.

The department teaches a wide range of Business courses, including GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate Standard level. Economics is a highly successful and popular subject within the Sixth Form, and is taught at A Level and the International Baccalaureate Higher and Standard levels.

We have a positive commitment to developing teachers' professional skills and a comprehensive staff development programme.

All members of staff working at the school support the international aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits programme.
