Teacher of Computer Science (with IT)
(MPS/UPS) required for January 2025
(Starting salary point on the MPS / UPS negotiated at interview)
A substantial recruitment payment for outstanding candidates will also be considered.

What we are looking for

Do you aspire to contribute to a curriculum that fosters a culture of exceptional academic achievement? Would you like to work in a school that has been acknowledged as the 'Top State School (non-grammar) in the East Midlands for 2022 and 2023 according to The Times and The Sunday Times 'Best Schools Guide', based on the outstanding GCSE and A level results achieved by students?
The IT department has moved from strength to strength in recent years, reflected in increased cohorts at both GCSE and A level (Computer Science), as well as very extremely impressive student outcomes. The school delivers IT to all students at Key Stage 3 and the curriculum enables students to move from basic computer literacy to higher-level computing skills. This curriculum not only engages students, but also teaches them skills that are increasingly important in our technologically advanced society.
We are looking for a teacher of Computer Science (with IT) with experience of delivering high quality teaching and learning and yielding positive outcomes for all students at GCSE and/or A level. The successful applicant must be a highly motivated professional with a desire to support students of a range of abilities and produce lessons driven by evidence-informed practice.
