Plumstead Manor is a thriving and popular secondary school located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. There has been a school on our site since 1913, with the first 105 years as a girls' school. In response to local demand we admitted our first mixed cohort in 2018 and are now fully co-educational.

The role

We are seeking a well qualified teacher of Computing and ICT to facilitate and encourage inspirational learning experiences in Computer Science, Computing and ICT.

We teach Computer Science at Key Stage 3 which builds a solid foundation for further studies at Key Stages 4 and 5.

The Business and IT/Computing department is a well-established department with several long-term members of staff working within the department. We offer subjects in both IT and Business at GCSE Level as well as finance courses and A level Economics at Key Stage 5.

We know our staff are our most important resource. As a result, professional development and well-being is vital to the success of the school and our young people. We are committed to excellence and justice in a successful and harmonious community.

This role would be suitable for either an ECT or an experienced teacher. We welcome and support ECT's with an excellent ECT program, tailored to individual needs, where you will be supported by a mentor.
