We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of KS5 Criminologyto join The Basildon Upper Academy, as part of a supportive Social Science Faculty, on a one year fixed term contract (maternity cover). Our academy operates across two sites.The Lower Academy specialises in the teaching of our Key Stage 3 students, whilst The Upper Academy specialises in teaching Key Stage 4 and 5.This appointed candidate will begin their BA career at the Basildon Upper Academy, where Criminology is a popular option in our thriving sixth form. The post is open to teachers of all levels of experience and we welcome applications from ECTs. Criminology is an advanced Alevelpathway and sits alongside Psychologywithin athriving Social Science Department. We pride ourselves on being a truly inclusive academy and this is actively underpinned by our motto 'Aspire Believe Achieve'.
