This opportunity is also suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT's). About the Design Department: It is our passion, for every pupil to develop a love for all aspects of creative and technological design. Every child can embrace their creativity given the correct environment and learning experiences, which our curriculum map embodies. Design and technology is in every aspect of life; from catering, building, shopping and engineering. Our curriculum map is designed to allow pupils to have exposure to these real-life situations and be able to transfer their skills and knowledge learnt into everyday life. It is also important that every child develops a confidence to apply their skills across other areas of the curriculum, and our curriculum map has this in mind with links to science, art, business and and maths in particular. Our curriculum will allow pupils to not only develop their creative skills, but also their reasoning and problem- solving skills.   • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant field.
  • Recent experience delivering highly engaging and inspirational lessons
  • Up to date knowledge of the Design and Technology KS3 & 4 curriculum
